JASON PARIS – William

Jason is excited to transition so quickly from songwriter/composer to being on stage in his underwear with Broken Toe Productions. Strangely, this will be the 3rd time. Please ask. Jason has been in exactly 11 shows in his lifetime, including Pajama Game, Almost Maine, Suite Surrender and Proof. Lately, Jason has been working more as a composer for film and plays. Please ask. Thanks so much to Pax for helping him grind, as always. Thanks to Doug for having him! It’s his first time, be gentle!

DAN KYLE – Randy

Dan Kyle is thrilled to take the stage as Randy in Douglas Sellers’ “No Sex Without Toys” at Shaking Tree Theater. His recent theater credits include “Toast” with Chapel Theatre and “Fully Automatic Heart” with Sowelu Perspective. With over 15 years of experience in film and television, Dan is expanding his craft in theater. He is currently a student at The Actors Lab PDX, studying under the guidance of Kristina Haddad. Dan has also been an instructor at the lab for nearly two years. A US Navy veteran, Dan enjoys staying active, cooking, and vacationing in his free time. He extends his gratitude to his wife Brandi, friends, colleagues, and students for their unwavering support.

BOBBI KAYE KUPFNER – Fredricka

Bobbi Kaye Kupfner (She/Her) is a theatre performer and creator originally from Montana. She holds an BA in Communications: Theatre from Montana State University-Billings, and an MFA in Theatre: Contemporary Performance from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. Since moving to Portland she has been an actor, improviser, musician, director, stage manager, and designer for numerous companies including: Action/Adventure, Enlightened Theatrics, Life in Arts, Portland Actors Ensemble, Experience Theatre Project, PassinArts, The Broken Planetarium, and many others. She is also an improviser in residence at The Funhouse Lounge. She is an avid D&D player, including as the character Kitty for the podcast, Dial M for Magic. 

ERIN BICKLER – Roxy

Erin has been in a range of performance venues in Portland the last few years. Her passion for the performing arts has even led her to scare people as the Mad Doctor at ScareGrounds PDX. Previous credits also include Kate in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Carol in Laughter on the 23 rd Floor, and Maggie in The Man Who Came to Dinner. At Grey Gables Estate, she performed in murder mystery dinner theater which had her in Doug Sellers’ The Engagement Party as Amy. She sends huge hugs to both Doug and Dawn Sellers for giving her this amazing opportunity.

GREG SHILLING – Aaron

No Sex Without Toys

A Comedy by Doug Sellers

After complaining about the lack of sex at home, best friends Randy and William are overheard by Aaron, a non-binary server at the golf club. Aaron suggests they “help” one another and knows the perfect place – The Honeymoon Hideaway, where Aaron also works. Aaron assures them they will be safe and unseen. 

The two men agree and as their night progresses at the Honeymoon Hideaway the adjoining room seems to be having a much better time. Chaos emerges as the voyeurs from both rooms try to listen between the walls and the adjoining doors. There’s an eye-opening reveal when one side opens the adjoining door to get a better listen, only to find out the other side is doing the same.

Doug is an award-winning playwright with over forty years experience in theatre and film. One of many plays written by Doug , No Sex Without Toys will be a World Premiere production at Shaking The Tree Theatre in Portland, Oregon.
